On a recent trip to South Australia, two things stood out as we were walking around the city. One was the lack of roadside litter and the other was the numbers of people with trollys or garbage bags looking for it.

Daylight Saving Referendum

A close vote is predicted for the Daylight Saving Referendum on May 16th 2009 with some polls slightly favouring the yes vote and others the no vote

Here we go again…

This  Saturday, 16th May 2009, Western Australians again get their chance to decide the fate of Daylight Savings. Certainly there is more opposition to Daylight Savings in Western Australia than other states.
