It’s a NO

May 17, 2009

Western Australia has voted NO to Daylight Saving with a slightly increased margin from last time. The debate that split families has now been decided. The AlbanyGateway poll showed the same trend with Albany NO voters slightly ahead of the YES ’s…and a few don’t care’s. This is the fourth time Western Australians have rejected Daylight Savings. Country voters in all the country areas voted no by large margins. Many are surprised by the size of the margin as predictions were for a close vote.
