Daylight Saving Referendum

May 15, 2009

A close vote is predicted for the Daylight Saving Referendum on May 16th 2009 with some polls slightly favouring the yes vote and others the no voteHeated discussions on the issue can be found online and around kitchen tables allthrough the state. While many love the extra evening sunlight, others complain of travelling in the afternoon heat. Of course that isn’t really a problem with the Albany area but would be in other parts of the Great Southern.

The usual red herring, like faded curtains are not being raised as oftern however one of the funniest comments I’ve seen is ……..blaming daylight saving for Global Warming
